Emily Dallas

Artist Biography

Emily Dallas is a multidisciplinary artist based in Milwaukie, Oregon, currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Art and Design at Portland State University, where she will graduate in June. Trained in graphic design, her primary passion is illustration, and her practice also includes painting, pastels, wheel throwing, and handmade art. Her work explores femininity, flowers, color, organic beauty, and the relationship between the body and the natural world.

Dallas also brings her artistic training into her candle business, where she creates visually distinctive candles and designs her own labels, tags, stickers, and packaging. In addition to her studio practice, she does freelance work in graphic design and illustration and has completed two PSU Rodeo courses working with real clients. She has participated in Be Honest, Good Market, and multiple markets, and she won 4th place in the yearly art contest at Clackamas Community College for an oil painting. She also received the Cougie Award for Student Excellence in Leadership.
